Our Founder

Mirka Newman, the founder and CEO of Mia Public Relations, was born and raised in Slovakia, Europe. Upon graduating from University of Wisconsin-Parkside, she dove into the world of public relations, using her multilingual skills and knowledge of foreign markets to her clients' advantage. Her European background mixed with her experience working in North America allow her to successfully support her clients on a global level.

Mia Public Relations is led by Mirka's drive to represent clients that strive to have a positive impact on this world. Clients range from eco-friendly and tech-forward travel brands, human and animal welfare organizations, non-profits, environmental foundations to eco-conscious consumer brands and products. Mirka leads her firm towards an innovative and strategic approach to deliver customized solutions to every client. Her knowledge and deep understanding of personal brand psychology bring fresh ideas to the table and provide clients with well-developed media campaigns that boost brand awareness and reach target audience on a personal level.
